Our Love Story

Mary and Connor’s paths first crossed at Pinnacle High School, but believe it or not, that’s not where their love story began. Back then, they weren’t even close friends. It wasn’t until years later that fate decided to step in.

Connor slid into Mary’s Instagram DMs, poking fun at ASU. Curious why he cared so much, Mary quickly learned that Connor was playing football at U of A. The two bumped into each other at the next ASU vs. U of A rivalry game, exchanged a quick hello, and went on their separate ways.

Fast forward a year, COVID hit, and Connor needed to move out of his Tucson apartment. On a whim, he asked Mary if she’d be willing to drive down with him to keep him company. Even though they hadn’t really hung out since high school, Mary said yes. That spontaneous road trip was the start of something neither of them saw coming.

By June 2020, they were officially dating. Connor was there cheering Mary on as she graduated college and made the Arizona Cardinals Cheer team. A year later, Mary returned the favor, supporting Connor as he graduated from college that following year. Through long-distance, career changes, and new adventures, they stood side by side, always rooting for each other.

Their shared love for creativity and competition led them both to start separate photography businesses, a passion that bonded them even more as they encouraged each other’s goals. In 2024, they moved in together, and by spring 2025, Connor proposed to Mary in Central Park, in the pouring rain, a scene straight out of a movie.

Now living in Chandler, Arizona, with their beloved miniature poodle, Honey, they’re counting down the days until they say I do. Getting married has always been a dream for both of them, and they couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter, together, forever. 🤎
